Affiliate & advertising disclosure

Off-Leash Atlas is free to use. To fund the work of maintaining it, we may earn money in three clearly-labelled ways:

• Affiliate links. Some links (for example to pet insurance comparisons or dog gear) are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are marked "Sponsored · affiliate link" where they appear.
• Display advertising. Ad units, when present, are visually distinct from listings and labelled as advertising.
• Featured placements. If a business pays for visibility, the placement is labelled "Featured" or "Sponsored" on the listing itself. Paid placement never alters the underlying data, descriptions, or whether an area is included.

What we never do: accept payment to change facts, hide areas, or rank council data differently. The data layer is the product; the moment it's for sale, the site is worthless.

This disclosure exists to comply with (and exceed) the Australian Consumer Law's misleading conduct provisions and the US FTC's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255).
